I have enjoyed visiting you this morning. I am originally from northern MO; my parents’ families live in IA, MN, and WI. I have so many good memories of visiting aunts, uncles, cousins and my grandparents during my childhood summers. I love your devotion and sharing ~ I will come back, I looked for a “follow me” and could not find it, would love to follow you and read your daily devotions. My blog (I am getting a new look and it will be off line for a while!) has many stories from growing up in rural Missouri to the present and how the Lord opens my eyes and ears to all the possibilities that surround each of us no matter where we are. I look forwards to sharing devotion each day, thank you again for the lovely visit….RaeDi

Good morning Jane! Just wondering what you can tell me about the stevia plant? I like using stevia, but have only used the powdered form. But I purchased a couple of the plants this summer for really cheap and now need to know how to use the leaves. Have you done this before or do you have a good source you use for herb information?
    Thanks & God bless!!!

    Hi Jane,
I just wanted to tell you how much I enjoy reading your blog each day! You have quite an eye for photography, as well as being a master cook! I enjoy your writings, also! Really, its a fun highlight each day, to check in and see what you’ve written. And, of course, it makes me feel not so far away. . . . sort of like I have visited with you!
    Thanks for doing it,
    Chris

I saw the link to your butternut squash dinner rolls on Kludgy Mom and wanted to try them for Thanksgiving. I made the dough and did a trial run this morning, and I had to tell you they are delicious! I can’t wait to take them to our family dinner! (I thought I would leave a comment here instead of the post since it is from August.)

Thanks for making my house smell wonderful this morning :)

    Jane,
Your class yesterday was fantastic!! Before you forget, can yo u tell me what you put in that particular smoothie (green). And, also, what were those muffins that we ate when we first came in? Thanks!
    Kristi

    • Thanks for coming to our class. We had a lot of fun presenting! In the smoothie I put: kale, cucumber, celery, parsley, banana, kiwi, pineapple, almond milk and ice. The muffins were in the handout-Banana Almond Butter Muffins. Megan made those and they were really good! I have a similar recipe that I posted a couple days ago on my blog! Enjoy all the good food!

    Jane,
Have you successfully “healthified” chicken alfredo? My family just loves that.

Jane, I just found out that you do a lot of cooking with wheat. I’m so excited my husband Charlie is Diabetic and it is very important to his health that we eat wheat. I tried to make homemade wheat noodles turned out fair. I really want a homemade wheat pie crust, but I have no idea how to make one
I would love to get together and talk about it.
    Thanks Ruth Allen

    • Thanks for stopping by my blog, Ruth! I have done a lot of baking with whole wheat flour. I haven’t made ww pasta though yet! I love to talk food…am looking forward to getting together to know you SH girls better! Things are coming together slowly around here…what a process!
