Strawberry Coconut Smoothie
Several mornings a week, I will prepare smoothies for our breakfast. How I prepare them completely depends on what is in my fridge and freezer. Quite often I throw in a bunch of fresh kale or spinach, however, the end product is an ugly brownish green. This morning I needed a colorful perker upper. Just three simple ingredients today…

In my VitaMix I threw in a half a bag of frozen whole unsweetened strawberries, one scoop (14 gms.) of protein powder and enough coconut milk for the right consistency. I don’t like to eat my smoothies with a spoon so I make them fairly thin. I also added about 5 drops of liquid stevia and garnished with unsweetened coconut flakes and fresh pomegranate seeds. (I guess that makes 6 ingredients, sorry!)
The color was invigorating and the taste was refreshing!
The perfect feminine and girlie breakfast!
